The Sales and Production Assistant will play a key role in supporting our sales and production teams. This role involves managing administrative tasks, coordinating projects, and assisting with customer interactions to ensure smooth operations from initial contact to project completion. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen interest in the construction and home improvement industry.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team with lead management, client follow-ups, and preparation of sales presentations and proposals.
  • Customer Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing updates on project status.
  • Production Coordination: Help coordinate project schedules, track progress, and ensure timely completion of roofing and siding projects.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales and production activities, including contracts, invoices, and project files.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and handling correspondence.
  • Order Management: Assist with ordering materials, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring the timely delivery of products to job sites.
  • Problem-Solving: Address any issues or concerns that arise during the sales or production process, working to resolve them promptly and effectively.

Education Requirements

  • High School or Equivalent (Preferred)

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience in a sales or administrative role, preferably within the construction or home improvement industry, is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM software is preferred.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively
